Brent Bozell has set out to remove the incumbent Republican leadership from office, announcing this week that his non-profit ForAmerica plans to funnel six-figures into a “Dump The Leadership” campaign. If you’re not familiar with Bozell, he’s a conservative activist and writer, founder of the conservative Media Research Center, which claims credit for making “‘media bias’ a household term.” A frequent Fox News guest, Bozell has made such noteworthy comments as Obama looks like “a skinny, ghetto crackhead” and that Common’s invitation to the White House for a poetry event is an example of “The Obama’s surrounding themselves with...Anti-American, American hating people.” He’s also pointed to Hollywood’s failure to portray homosexuality as “morally wrong,” as proof of “liberal bias.” Anyway, this guy is disappointed in the GOP’s loss of “principles and bearings” and his campaign plans to put out digital ads specifically targeting House Speaker John Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn, from now until November.
