The Recording Industry Association of America announced Wednesday that Michael Jackson’s Thriller, already heralded as the biggest-selling album of all time, is now the first in its history to be a 30-times multiplatinum certified record. Such certification means the game-changing 1982 LP topped 30 million in U.S. sales.
