Fox News’ Sean Hannity Deleted Cohen-Related Tweets Ahead of Sentencing

Fox News host Sean Hannity deleted tweets referencing President Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen shortly before Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison on Wednesday, according to Newsweek. On Tuesday afternoon, Hannity reportedly deleted over 270 tweets—with five of them directly referencing Cohen. The deleted tweets included ones from April 16 that addressed the revelation that Cohen had performed legal work for Hannity. “Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective,” Hannity reportedly wrote in the now-deleted tweet.
