Prince Harry made a late-night run to Nando's, the Portugese-style chicken shop, on Tuesday evening, paying £24.05 for his takeaway dinner.
It is thought he went for the take-away after watching England qualify for next year's World Cup at a mate's house in Fulham.
Two members of the Prince’s personal security sat patiently behind him while he waited with a pal more than 15 minutes for his food, according to a report in the Mirror which has pics too.
The Mirror reports:
His order consisted of chicken breast fillet in pitta bread with a lemon and herb marinade - the mildest on offer – with additional cheese and a side of creamy mash.
A stunned onlooker said: “It was surreal. He was very charming and politely refused a member of staff who approached him for a picture. I was gobsmacked to see him.”
Another witness added: “Moments after he left the restaurant clutching his dinner in a paper bag a member of staff jumped on the bench the Harry was sitting on and shouted: “I’m on the Prince’s throne!’ Nobody could believe what happened.”
