The House of Representatives passed a massive $1.3 trillion spending bill Thursday afternoon, according to Politico. The bill will now head up to the Senate, which must act by midnight Friday to avoid a government shutdown. The bill funds the government until September 30, and could potentially get held up if a single senator isn't pleased with the bill. President Donald Trump reportedly agreed to sign the bill once it's passed, after privately telling House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) that he wanted more money for the border wall with Mexico.
