According to a new report from The Daily Beast, a NBC News executive who reviewed Ronan Farrow’s reporting on sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein—which the network determined unfit for air—was himself once accused of sexual harassment. David Corvo sent sexually charged emails to an female employee starting in 2007 and she complained. The network told The Daily Beast it took “effective action” on the complaint filed in 2010, and separated Corvo from the woman. The network said Corvo was “not a decision maker on the Weinstein reporting,” and that he and two women on the Farrow review team “were unanimous in affirming that NBC News did not yet have a story that was ready for broadcast.” Read the full Daily Beast report here.
