New England Patriots running back James White was inactive for the Patriots’ game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night after his father was killed in a car accident that also left his mother in critical condition. White’s father, Tyrone White, was a police captain in the Miami-Dade Police Department. The department’s director tweeted out his condolences to the family late Sunday afternoon.
