A clearly furious Nicki Minaj called Miley Cyrus a “bitch’ live on stage for comments she had made about her in The New York Times during MTV’s Video Music Awards on Sunday night. “And now back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press,” Minaj said when accepting her award, pointing at Cyrus, who was hosting the ceremony. “Miley, what’s good?” The camera then panned to Cyrus, who looked shocked at Minaj’s verbal onslaught. “Hey, we’re all in this industry, we all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate shit,” Cyrus mumbled, before adding, “Nicki, congratulations.” Cyrus told the Times that Minaj was “not too kind” in her Twitter spat with Taylor Swift.
