Phillip Lim is Target's Next Guest Designer; Kate Moss Shills Self Tanner

Phillip Lim for Target: The Wall Street Journal reports that Phillip Lim has been chosen for Target’s next designer collaboration. Lim will design a line of men’s and women’s clothing, as well as accessories, for a limited-edition collection that will launch in September. Items will sell between $20 and $75 on average, with specialty designs like leather jackets escalating up to $300. [WSJ]

Kate Moss's Self Tanner: Kate Moss is now shilling self-tanner. High-end product Saint Tropez will roll out its first-ever global campaign today, starring the English supermodel. Its unknown how much Moss was paid for the endeavor. [WWD]

Marina Abramovic Sells House to Tisci: Famed performance artist Marina Abramovic has sold her SoHo townhouse to friend and Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci. Abromovic, who once turned heads in a Tisci-designed dress and jacket made of the skin of 101 snakes, forked over the property to the tune of $3.063 million. [Curbed]

Lily Cole's Rainforest Film: Lily Cole, English model and rumored girlfriend of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, has made her directorial debut with a short YouTube film about the Amazon rainforest. Teaming up with the Sky Rainforest non-profit, Cole spent a week in the Amazon investigating the positive impacts of harvesting natural rubber from rainforest trees, rather than cutting them down for other commercial purposes. She said of the cause, “[it] can give local communities in the rainforest an alternative source of income that keeps the trees standing.” [i-D]

Petite-a-Porter: In an interview with Mashable, Net-A-Porter’s managing director Alison Loehnis revealed that the online retailer is looking to branch out into childrenswear. “We’ve had registered for some time,” she told the site. [Mashable]
