West Virginia’s newly elected Democratic Gov. Jim Justice stood beside President Trump at a Thursday night rally in Huntington, W.V., and announced that he is switching to the Republican Party. The billionaire coal and real-estate magnate will make his announcement in front of the thousands of Trump supporters who showed up for the Appalachia-region rally. Justice was a Republican until 2015, when he switched his affiliation and eventually ran for governor as a conservative Democrat. (He declined to endorse Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.)
