The daughter of a wrestler depicted in the A24 film Iron Claw has slammed the flick as “inaccurate” and “heart-wrenching.” Lacey Von Erich, the daughter of Kerry Von Erich, made the comments in an upcoming episode of Investigation Discovery’s docuseries Hollywood Demons, Variety reported. She said the film left out key details about her professional wrestling dad’s life, such as his wife Catherine Murray, and his two daughters. “My sister and I were not in the movie as my dad’s children, and he didn’t have a wife or anything,” said Lacey, whose father was portrayed by Jeremy Allen White in the film. The film also starred Zach Efron as Kevin Von Erich and Harris Dickinson as David Von Erich. Kevin, the only surviving brother of the three, agreed that the portrayal of his brother was skewed. “Kerry in the movie was not a family man, but in real life he was,” he said. However, Kevin said he had indeed “endorsed” the film despite the family not being consulted.
