Alyssa Milano is taking her acting chops to the stage and will join Broadway’s Chicago in the fall in the role of Roxie Hart. “The beauty of theater is that you get to try new things every night... That’s what I used to love about doing theater. And that’s what I hope that I can find again in doing Chicago,” the Charmed actress told the Associated Press. Her run will last eight weeks, starting Sept. 16. Milano will be taking over the role from Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, who joined the cast in January. The show has been home to many famous Roxies, including Pamela Anderson, Brandy Norwood, and Lisa Rinna, to name a few. While Milano acted on stage when she was younger, she has yet to tackle Broadway. “It just felt like when this offer came up that everything fell into place,” Milano told the AP. “My 9-year-old daughter looked at me and said, ‘Mom, you would be an idiot not to do this.’”
