Anthony Weiner Weeps at Sentencing: ‘I Have a Disease, But I Have No Excuse’

Anthony Weiner wept in court on Monday, as he was sentenced to 21 months in prison. “I have a disease, but I have no excuse,” he cried. The former congressman, who sent pornography and sexually explicit messages to a 15-year-old girl last year, will also have to register as a sex offender. “Now I focus on how to live my new, smaller life, one day at a time,” Weiner said in a statement to the judge. He said has been trying to battle his sex addiction with daily meetings and twice-weekly therapy sessions.
