But while a win comes with bragging rights for a year, The Daily Beast wanted to know which breeds can lay claim to all-time supremacy. Westminster offers 135 years worth of data to figure that out: Specifically, which breeds historically perform the best across the board, in overall and group wins. To find out Westminster’s best breeds, we devised the following points system:
Best in Show: 10 points

Second place, group: 3 points
Third place, group: 2 points
Fourth place, group: 1 point
