“Wouldn't it be lovely to think so?"

On a whiteboard in the CNN workspace, somebody wrote an inspirational saying:

“Power is not determined by wealth, good looks or family traits, but by your ideas.”

A lovely thought. But isn’t that hypothesis about to contradicted by the outcome of this primary?
