They say it takes a village, but sometimes it just takes one woman. We’re collecting your stories of women who have discovered solutions for some of today’s most urgent challenges through The Problem, the Solution, and the Woman social-media campaign. If you've been inspired by a woman working for change, we'd love to learn about her. You can also tweet her story using the hashtag #onewoman.
Please support our Women in the World boutique, featuring products by, for and benefitting women.

The Women in the World Foundation was born out of Newsweek & The Daily Beast’s Women in the World Summit. The foundation is dedicated to highlighting and driving solutions for advancing women and girls, and serves as a resource to all who seek to learn about and engage on the issues the 51 percent face. In addition, the foundation convenes courageous women of impact, provide strategic grants to select nonprofit organizations, and foster much-needed collaboration between organizations.
