William ‘Appalled’ by Slaughter of Friend’s Rhino

Rhino Max shot 17 times by poachers.

A spokesman for Prince William said today that he is ‘appalled’ by the slaughter of a white rhino hand-reared on an African game reserve by Ian Craig, father of his ex-girlfriend Jecca Craig.

The animal, named Max, was shot 17 times by poachers who then hacked off his horn.

William first met Max in 2001 when he worked on Mr Craig’s safari farm for six weeks.
