He's known for getting irritated easily, but this time, it seems, something really has got right up Prince Philip's nose.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment on Philip's unusual nasal adornment as he toured Leicester with the wife yesterday, but nose bleeds are a frequent side effect of blood-thinning drugs, frequently prescribed after the type of heart surgery Philip underwent after suffering a heart attack at Christmas.
