Statistics From Iran's Murder-State

Amnesty International reports:

Iran executed at least one person a day in 2011, and perhaps double that number. Among the crimes for which people were executed were blasphemy and adultery.

The United States executed 43 people in 2011, all for aggravated forms of murder.
