Camilla Meets The Beatles
Check out the Beatles very genteely mocking the Queen Mum in 1963
Camilla met a Beatles tribute band in Liverpool today. Which gives us a great excuse to watch this clip of the Beatles performing for the Queen Mother in 1963.
If you 'aint got the time for the whole 8 minutes (and alas, who has, save the pampered poodles of the Monarchy) then skip to 4:50 when John gives a cheeky grin and says, "For the next song we'd like your help. Could those of you in the cheaper seats clap your hands. The rest of you, just rattle your jewelry," and the Queen Mum virtually wets herself laughing (for her) and does this wierd little Royal Wave that seems to say, "That's me he's talking about, dog."
