You've gotta love this Daily Mail story about the Queen's specially crafted 4lb Easter egg. It's beyond parody.
Among the many bewildering details of Royal Easter egg production, we learn that the special chocolate blend "was created … with co-owner Nick Crean,…(and)… it is mixed in an century-old floral jug that used to belong to Mr Crean’s great-grandmother. The jug that was only used on special occasions, such a birthdays, and is now kept in their factory solely for the annual pouring of the melted chocolate to create the royal Easter egg."
Sixty years and hardly a slip.
