Whether or not Kate is pregnant is a moot point, but the future King and Queen showed they are going to be natural parents - if and when the time comes - when they were introduced to a three-week old baby today during a London event.

Kate and William are getting broody!

Brave William  held the tot, three-week-old Hugo Eric Scott, as he spoke to his father, Sgt Paul ‘Vic’ Vicary, a serviceman who had taken part in an expedition to the South Pole, recreating the famous Scott-Amundsen race to the South Pole one hundred years ago.

‘Hello Hugo, you are very sweet, aren’t you?’ said Kate as she stroked the baby’s head and admired his ‘Superbaby’ onesie.

William went one step further, and actually held the baby while chatting to his dad and gazing at the infant adoringly.

The event was in aid of the British Royal Legion, a charity for war veterans.
