A splendid piece of corrspondence in the Daily Telegraph from a Mr Geoff White of Essex: "May I be the first to nominate the least likely item of Jubilee memorobilia. I have just bought a limited edition collection of dishwasher tablets in a patriotic Union flag box. My dilemma is whether to use them and earn my wife's gratitude or to preserve them as an investment for my grandchildren."
