Stock Up On Cash, Not Baked Beans
Preparing for the apocalypse is no longer a boutique business. Costco is now selling 9-month emergency survival supplies on the same catalogue page as shotguns and security systems.
It's capitalism, I suppose: if enough of your customers go crazy, you must go crazy with them.
On the other hand, the disaster-minded should take note: while the small investor is hoarding canned food, the big boys are hoarding cash—and not just any random cash, but U.S. dollars.
