Pippa Middleton is planning a move to New York in a bid to rebuild her reputation, and build her public profile (in a good way) prior tot he launch of her party planning book 'Celebrate' in October.

Ironically, Pippa had been planning a move to Paris, before last month's gungate, when a man driving a car she was a passenger in pointed a toy pistol at a photographer.

'Pippa had been considering a move to Paris. But now that's off the list she has been investigating her options in America,' a source told UK Grazia magazine. 'She would love to move to New York as she'll be spending time there when her book launches in the autumn.'
