Pippa Middleton's party tips include whipping up a breakfast snack of bacon sandwiches to soak up the booze after a hard night’s partying, judging by her culinary efforts at her best friend’s wedding this weekend.

Pippa met Camilla Hook on a cookery course ten years ago, and Pippa has helped plan her wedding over the past year, but still guests were surprised when, at 5am, Pippa slipped an apron over her pink silk Issa dress and hit the kitchen.

A guest at the wedding told the Daily Mail: “It was very surreal. She was on the dancefloor for most of the night so she must have been tired. Then she stayed up after most people had gone to make bacon sandwiches. They were delicious.”

Camilla was marrying Indian Ocean tsunami survivor Sam Holland, the actor grandson of Oscar-winning film director Lord Attenborough.

Pippa had earlier given a reading in the church ceremony.
