Commiserations to blog cozycot.com for snapping this first picture of what they thought was the cover of Pippa's forthcoming book 'Celebrate' at BookExpo America in New York. In fact, it's a pinspiration style mood board, and the cover has not yet been released. It does let us in on the all-important subtitle though: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends.
Despite the fact it's not the cover of either the UK or US editions according to publishing sources, the photos are almost certainly taken from inside the book, meaning it's still well worth deconstructing:
The photos themselves boast very classic, modern British styling, with an autumnal feel; golden light, scarves and woollens.
Commercially, there is a direct play for the US Hallowe'een market with the snap of the kids dressed up as ghosts and the ghouls, and also a Hallowe'en game involving eating doughnuts on strings.
There's the compulsory tray of Champagne proffered by a demure Pip - telegraphing the message that this book isn't just for kids parties you know - but, curiously, not one shot of that famous butt.
Sixty years and hardly a slip.
