Big Gulp Fascism

Reader Tom Doran sends this ominous warning of how the loss of freedom can begin:

First they came for the Big Gulps, and I did not speak out, because I was not a lardass.

Then they came for those earning over $250,000, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Koch Brother.

Then they came for the insurance companies, and I did not speak out, because I had a pre-existing condition.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
