All the Israeli Ladies

Tel Aviv is a terrific place to be gay (even if certain pictures turn to be, if not washed pink, at least a little touched up). It also may be a terrific place to be straight, single and lonely. But sometimes, you wish people would be a little more selective with how they sell the Jewish State.

Not Israel21c’s best work.  It’s creepy (“Israel’s women are beautiful and special…”) and misogynist (“…and sometimes difficult to handle”). The combination of scantily clad, attractive women and scantily clad, corpulent men makes Philip Roth's imagination look feminist. Even some of the participants seem weirded out, as if they're not sure whether they’re being filmed for hasbara or porn.

You know what good press for Zionism looks like? This.
