Newsweek/The Daily Beast finally has a book club! It’s happening on Tumblr, so register for an account to participate if you haven’t yet. We asked you whether we should start one, and you answered a resounding “yes,” so the first NWK Tumblr Book Club has launched. We’ll read one book a month, and you’ll help us vote for which one, using this quick form. For July, the choices are John Lanchester’s Capital, Maggie Shipstead’s Seating Arrangements, Mark Haddon’s The Red House, Karen Thompson Walker’s The Age of Miracles, and Chris Cleave’s Gold. Voting ends this Friday, June 29, and let’s start reading and blogging Monday July 2.
Every week, we’ll read a quarter of the book. Every Friday we will host a live chat to discuss what we’ve read so far—the first one will be July 6.
