Oreo Does Gay Pride
From reader Tom Doran about Kraft Foods' decision to celebrate gay pride with a rainbow Oreo:
The lesson here is not that a few thousand angry bigots can take it out on a comment thread, but that a major corporation decided celebrating Pride was worthwhile. Tolerance truly wins not when hatred becomes unpopular, but when it becomes unprofitable.
