Retarded—And Executed In Texas

On Tuesday night,Texas executed an inmate who was found to be mildly mentally retarded—despite the Supreme Court’s ruling prohibiting the death penalty for such defendants. Matt DeLuca reports.

At 6:27 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Aug. 7, Texas executed Marvin Lee Wilson, a 54-year-old man who was found guilty of a 1992 murder in Beaumont, Texas.
