Monster Cover: Lady Gaga’s cover of Vogue’s September issue has been revealed. Clad in a magenta Marc Jacobs gown and RuPaul hair, Gaga has been anticipating it on Twitter all week. But she’s definitely happy with it: as she tweeted Thursday, “The cover story written by jonathan van meter, is the TEA.” The cover story, excerpted in part online, isn't on newsstands still August 21st. Oops: Johan Blake, silver medalist for the 100 meter dash, is under investigation by the Olympics Committee for donning a custom-made $500,000 watch in competition. Apparently, you’re not allowed to wear any clothing or accessories that aren’t produced by the Olympics’ official sponsors. [Styleite]
On the DL: Kate Bosworth was sleuth in announcing her engagement to actor Michael Polish. She let the news slip in her travel diary inside Vogue’s August issue and it seems that no one noticed the ‘fiancé’ word until now. [Vogue UK]
