Wehner Joins the Romney Campaign

My former White House colleague Pete Wehner has accepted a position as senior adviser on the Romney campaign. A great hire.

My post-White House years -- including as a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and as a commentator on unfolding events (particularly from my perch at Commentary magazine) -- have been very fulfilling ones. But with three months left in the presidential campaign, and with all that hangs in the balance, it's right for me to jump back into the arena in this way; and in so doing, to help a team I believe in to give voice to the causes I believe in.
