If you had to say which Obama was giving a big interview to Glamour magazine, you might guess Michelle. But no: President Obama has been interviewed by the magazine's editor-in-chief, Cindi Leive, for an article appearing in the magazine's November issue.

According to WWD, the magazine scored the interview because of its big circulation -- and, presumably, because younger women are seen as an up-for-grabs demo in the election. Much to the dismay of the perpetually peeved White House press corps, this is all part of Obama's "shaking up" of his publicity strategy in the next few months. The Glamour interview reportedly took five months to arrange, and it took place in Portland, Ore. last month. Leive apparently asked the President about women's health issues -- and this was fortuitously all pre-Todd Akin brouhaha. [WWD]
