Obama To Bibi: Call Me, Maybe
The Obama-Netanyahu spat rolls on, late into the evening. As I wrote earlier, Haaretz reported that Obama declined to meet with Netanyahu while the latter would be in country for the U.N. Contrary to reports in the press, there was never a request for Prime Minister Netanyahu to meet with President Obama in Washington, nor was a request for a meeting ever denied.
So there's that. Since Netanyahu's so into public pressure these days, perhaps he should just ask aloud to the press for a meeting, and watch Obama try to deny that.
