Like a fish, er, lobster out of water – a model walks the runway at Milan Fashion Week during the Gucci Spring/Summer 2013 show. Adorned in head to toe crimson, the model sported a turtleneck bodice, long sleeves and oversized ruffles decorating her arms and shoulders. Designer Frida Giannini let the collection scream not-so-subtle sexuality, with florescent pinks, silk and red-hot silhouettes. WWD called the collection “high glamour with confident ease,” noting that “the unfussy femininity made for a polished bridge between sportswear and a suit. And if the look rang a little too 1972 (or a little too loud: head-to-toe azalea) to take significant flight for day, it presented a distinctive way to dress for evening.”
