Harry's Flying Instructor Sues

Prince Harry's former flying instructor who taught him how to fly fixed wing planes, the first step on his path to becoming an Apache pilot, has claimed he was forced out of the Army by bullies.

Sergeant Major Mike Booley, 46, said that a string of promises were broken over his career.

In papers filed at the Employment Appeals Tribunal he says he felt he had no option but to quit in 2010 and that his treatment amounted to 'bullying', The Sun reports today.

Tribunal judge Jeremy McMullen, QC, said of his 20-year Army record: 'He has a conspicuously distinguished service record including his selection uniquely in the history of the Armed Services to train a member of the Royal Family.'
