Calling in The Pro: Valentino has confirmed that he will design Anne Hathaway’s wedding dress. “She’s a very good friend of mine. She’s like my daughter,” the Italian designer told E! News of their relationship. [Vogue UK]
Ungaro’s Back At It: French fashion label Ungaro is making yet another comeback, following a year-long absence from the runways and a revolving door of creative directors that’s included Esteban Cortezar, Giles Deacon, and a fated collaboration with Lindsay Lohan. The brand will return in partnership with giant fashion conglomerate Aeffe and will boast up-and-coming designer Fausto Puglisi as its creative director. [WWD]
