Fame / Flynet

Sarah Palin popped up in Los Angeles on Sunday looking, well, pretty scary. Gone are the matching pantsuits, power boots, and lenscrafter-y glasses. The former VP candidate looked rail thin as she ran errands with her daughter Willow in Studio City. (She was probably there to support her other daughter, Bristol, who is currently on Dancing With The Stars.)

She smiled for cameras as she darted in and out of stores in a pair of tight jeans, yellow wedge sandals, a black croptop (thankfully) with a tank top underneath, and a pair of orange Raybans. Her tips, by the way, are newly frosted, and her nails appeared to be a shade of silver-blue. According to the photo agency that published the photos, the mother-daughter pair “stopped in to get facials and manicures at a nail salon, shopped at K-Mart, and stopped for some lunch at KFC.” Well, even with the superficial changes, it’s clear Sarah Palin is still Sarah Palin.

Maybe her new physique is research: Palin has recently revealed that she's writing a fitness book, which she says “works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy.”
