Why Romney Lost
I didn't do public predictions this year, but I fear I did see today coming. I've written a book to explain what went wrong - and to propose some ways forward. WHY ROMNEY LOST will release Friday as an e-book, with an excerpt also in the coming issue of Newsweek.
The key message I hope readers will understand: conservatism must modernize. Modernization is not an abandonment of the conservative message; modernization is the only way conservatism can survive.
