Just when Harry thought it was safe to come back from the war, a former model who claims she was one of Harry's Vegas party pals on the night of the infamous game of strip billiards has said she is planning to write a book about her night with Harry - and she says she has more unseen photographs of the boozy Vegas Royal rager.
Celebuzz is reporting that Carrie Reichert, a former beautician from San Diego, is planning to write a “steamy” account of her 20 minutes alone with the prince in his hotel bedroom.
“Carrie’s journal is being turned into a book and it will answer the question once and for all: did she have sex with the prince,” Celbuzz reports an insider saying. “The book will blow the lid off exactly what happened.”
Reichert, who says she is 32, but, according to police records, is 40, told British tabloid The People: “We kissed, he was naked at the time and pretty open. It was a drunken fumble. It wasn’t romantic, just fun. He was a gentleman, but he was so wasted. The alcohol affected him. I was there for 15 to 20 minutes.”
However her account has been questioned, and the palace have previously stated that she was not even present at the party.
She then claimed when she was arrested at San Diego airport on historic charges of writing bad checks, that her subsequent incarceration was at the behest of the British Secret Service in revenge for going public.
She told the People newspaper: “I’m not going to pass an opportunity to party with Prince Harry. Harry was already undressed [when I arrived]. It was just crazy, he looked actually delirious.
“There was a pool table and he was playing air guitar with pool sticks. We kissed for 15 to 20 minutes. I am sure someone stumbled in as there were people going in and out of rooms all the time. We kissed again and he said 'that was great’.”
Her claims are strongly denied by royal aides, who said they were “completely untrue” and that she was not even present on the night of the party.
This raises the possibility that Harry's protection team were taking names off people - but not their camera phones.
Reichert was arrested at San Diego airport shortly after the interview was published on Aug 24 for allegedly writing four bad cheques worth a total of £13,000.
She denies the charges, which date back to 2003. She spent almost a month in Harrison County jail in Mississippi.
Sixty years and hardly a slip.
