Only on Up W/Chris Hayes can you witness nearly a half-hour of passionate discussion on the filibuster. You should watch it in its entirety, but I highly recommend the final segment, where the panel discusses political norms as something worth considering when passing reforms.
And my thoughts? I'm going to disagree with the conservatives here. The slippery slope argument isn't helpful when past history has demonstrated Senate rules can be changed without inducing bedlam.
