Senator Jim DeMint will step down to lead the Heritage Foundation.
Congratulations, Senator: at about $1 million per year, the Heritage president is the highest-paid think tank president in Washington, earning almost twice as much as the next runner-up. (Those are 2010 figures, likely much higher now.) And that's without counting the car-and-driver!
