Marc Jacobs's Favorite Porn Star a Retiree: Women’s Wear Daily’s CEO Summit celebrated its kick-off last evening with a lavish dinner at New York’s Plaza Hotel and a candid discussion with Marc Jacobs (moderated by WWD’s executive editor, Briget Foley). But things really got rolling when dinner guest Martha Stewart got out of her seat to ask Jacobs a series of three questions pooled from her Twitter followers; the best of which, an inquiry into his favorite porn star. Graciously, Jacobs only offered that his name is Eddie—a salacious starlet that’s now retired. [Fashion Beast Inbox]

Claire Danes on POTUS: Claire Danes gets candid in ELLE’s newest issue, speaking about her Correspondents’ Dinner run-in with President Obama.  “I said, ‘I’m Claire Danes,’ and he said, ‘Oh, you’re a fine actress.’ And I said, ‘You’re a fine president!’ And he said, ‘Oh, you’re a finer actress than I am president.’ I didn’t have any retort,” she told the magazine. Roberto Cavalli Must Sleep Naked: Roberto Cavalli allowed Harper’s Bazaar to trail him for 24 hours in this month’s issue—a profile that led to many discoveries about the designer. For one, he sleeps naked because he, “always feel I cannot sleep when I am dressed.” He owns many pets, but has sworn off tigers and monkeys for the time being. He has two Twitter accounts—one for his fans, and one for his opinions on politics. Though thankfully, he doesn’t work naked—instead he wears one of 50 pairs of jeans. [Harper’s Bazaar]
