Inauguration Day Open Thread

Regular blogging will proceed below, but I'll leave this post at the top of the blog until the afternoon. Chat away, and we'll be here all day. I'll be updating with photos, video, and other neat tidbits as our President goes through the motions of taking the oath of office... again.

11:50 AM: And the President and Vice President have completed their ceremonial swearing-in. The President is speaking now.

11:45 AM: I'll get today's video of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir as soon as it's available. In the meantime, here's video of that Choir singing the Battle Hymn of the Republic from another event:

11:00 AM: The Inaugural Speech is scheduled to begin at 11:50 AM, followed by an inaugural luncheon, the inaugural parade, the Commander and Chief Inaugural Ball, and finally the Inaugural Ball itself. More details here. Also, here's a picture of Newt Gingrich:
