Chris Cuomo Moving to CNN

Chris Cuomo, the ABC News anchor, is jumping to CNN.

Cuomo will become co-host of the cable network's Starting Point and a principal CNN anchor on major breaking stories. His hiring is a major coup for Jeff Zucker, the former NBC chief executive who took over CNN Worldwide this month. Starting Point is currently hosted by Soledad O'Brien.

Cuomo, the brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, is now an anchor on 20/20. He is the latest ABC journalist to join CNN, after anchor John Berman and White House correspondent Jake Tapper.
