Yet Another 'Grey Dawn' Shooting

This occurred today in Hamtramck, Michigan:

A Hamtramck woman in her 80s has been hospitalized after barricading herself in her home and taking shots at police officers overnight. …

After holding police at bay for about five hours and taking four or five shots at officers with a shotgun, the woman surrendered early today after officers broke in her front door with an armored personnel carrier.

“We don’t believe she was trying to hurt us; she was just freaked out, scared,” Garbarino said. “She just didn’t know what was going on. I’m just thankful no one was hurt. All our guys acted very professionally. They worked very hard to get her out safe.”
