Obama's Second Thoughts on China

The president last night announced negotiations on a Trans-Pacific trade area to include among others Australia, Korea, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia. He announced talks with the European Union to form a Trans-Atlantic Trade Area. If all goes well, the world will shortly be governed by a free trade regime that governs almost all the world's major trading nations except, hem, China.

It sure looks as if somebody thinks that it was a mistake to admit China to the World Trade Organization in the first place.
