A week ago, Arafat Jaradat, a 30-year-old Palestinian from the village of Sa’ir in the West Bank, was arrested near the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba for throwing a stone at an armed Israeli settler during Israel’s assault on the Gaza Strip last November.
